Question:

If I can't recieve FASFA... what should I do?

I need $4,900.00 for school this semester and I suppose to be there Saturday but I just found out that I cant receive that FASFA thing and my mom is flat broke... HELP PLEASE!!!!

  1. I suggest you figure out why you cant get that "fafsa thing" because this application is the beginning and end of all federal aid for college.  Although it is not impossible to attend college without aid, it is highly unlikely based on your question.

    Find out why you don't qualify (because virtually every US Citizen does) and work to remedy it.


  2. Are you saying you can't get federal financial aid (as in  you filled out the FAFSA which is the form you fill out, the FAFSA itself is not financial aid)? If I'm misunderstanding you please let me know so I can better answer.

    If that's the case, and you don't qualify for federal financial aid, you're going to have to get a private school loan, but in order to get one you will need a co-signer with good credit.

    I don't know of any other options for you. Sorry.
