In the upcoming months, I will only be able to baby dance on the weekends and maybe once during the week on Tuesdays or Wednesday due to mine & my husband's scheduals. Is there still a chance that we will conceive?

  1. Yes you can still get pregnant.  Just baby dance when you can.  If you ovulate over the weekend then you will have a better chance but sperm can live up to 3 days in your body.  Baby dust to you!

  2. Girl I got pregnant on a Wednesday.. and that's after not doing anything for 2 months! lol! That was with the one I'm carrying now!

With my first daughter.. my husband had been in Iraq for a year.. came home on Christmas Eve (on a Saturday by the way :) ) and 9 months later we had a daughter! :)

Good luck to you and lots of baby dust!

  3. Yes there is a chance though it is lower then for women that can have s*x every day or every other day.

  4. Yes, as long as you are ovulating on the weekend or the begining of the week you should have a good chance. Sperm live up to 5 days in you so it may not be as great of a chance as a couple that has s*x every day, but it's still possible. Especially if you do get a chance to have s*x in the middle of the week. That will cover you in case you are ovulating in between wed-fri/sat.

good luck, I hope it works out for you!!

  5. It all depends on whether you ovulate around that time.

Sperm lives for 3-5 days so if you ovulate between 3-5 days after having s*x, you'll have a much better chance of conception.

    Good luck xxxx

  6. It is possible, it all depends on when you ovulate. Lets look at all the scenarios based on the fact that sperm can live for up to 3 days. Say you ovulate on a Saturday or Sunday, you are BDing on the weekend so you would be covered. Monday you would be one day out from Sunday so you would still be covered under the 3 day sperm window. Tuesday is two days out from BDing on Sunday so you are still covered. Wednesday is three days out from Sunday so you may still be covered there, but a a better scenario is that you are able to BD on Tuesday or Wednesday like you said so you would have a fresh batch of swimmers to work with. The only bad scenarios I can think of is if you ovulate on Thursday or Friday and are not able to BD on Tuesday or Wednesday as the sperm from the weekend probably would not be viable by then. To sum up I would say yes, while it will be harder to time and make work it is still possible that you can conceive in this situation. I would just try your hardest to BD on BOTH days of the weekend and on Tuesday and Wednesday closest to your fertil period. Best luck to you and Baby Dust!
