I'm getting contacts on Saturday and decided I should see if I can touch my eye... turns out I have no probem touching and rubbing the white of my eyes... does this mean it should be fairly easy for me to get them in the first time?

  1. just try not to blink so much (like i did) and you'll be fine! also if you apply eye liner often then you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting use to the lenses.

  2. Haha sure! I was just imagining someone standing in front of the mirror practicing poking herself in the eye.

But yeah I think it will help because touching the eye is the problem for a lot of people. However I've also heard people say that they freak out at the fact that an object is coming toward their eye (The contact).

I think you're adequately prepared yourself!

  3. it may, it may not. I could touch my eye just fine like you, but I spent FOREVER trying to put it in the first time. it's a reflex to a foreign object to blink like crazy and your eyes water up. You'll get it with practice. have fun

  4. not necasarily but it should be easier

  5. Well, it's a little different, but don't sweat it. I found that my eyes fluttered a lot when I first got them, but they get used to it. You shouldn't have much of a problem, because the hardest part of contacts is getting past the fear of sticking something in your eye. You're past that, so it shouldn't be too bad. Good luck, you'll love them!
