  1. No way! There is no code for billing out a missed appt!

  2. Insurance never covers any cost associated with a cancellation.  And for the record there is no time limit set on that.  If you cancel 48 or 72 or 24 hours in advance but you still get a bill for the appointment you didn't attend, insurance will not pay.

  3. Why would insurance cover a cancellation?  You didn't follow through.

  4. If you did not cancel in a timely manner (that which is required of your psychiatrist), your insurance is not going to pick up any of the tab.  Insurances pay for services rendered.  You had no service rendered here.  You missed an appointment, and that one is YOUR expense.

  5. No, there wasn't any service rendered to be reimbursed for.

  6. Insurance does not cover cancelled appointment fee.

  7. Haha. I would go to the appoitment :) cuz i don't think that insurance covers the cancelation fee :) and with 75$, you can get new pair of jeans hehe.

  8. Probably not.

Insurance has their heels in the ground just making a payment for something that actually happened...they're not going to want to pay (even a portion) for something that never took place.

  9. they should only charge you for a cancellation if you do it 24 hours or less before the appointment was scheduled for.  Other than that it's a freebie.  If you cancelled it before that, then they're trying to s***w you.
