I sign up for an online class, and I want to drop out of it and add a new one. Will it had any effect on the Financial Aid I I had?

  1. It shouldn't have any effect if you replace the class you are dropping.  


  2. Nah.  I did it all the time.  If I didn't like a professor or a class, I just dropped that class and signed up for another one.  Just make sure you do that before mid-term, because most colleges have a time limit on withdrawal and admission.

  3. I sure hope it's not one of those bogus online degree resource. Then probably not be eligibile for finanical aid. FAFSA doesn't recognize online collleges.

  4. yes you must keep 12 credit hours for full FA It depends on how far into the term you are you may be required to finish the course and get a grade unless you were over the 12 credit hours. There are different drop dates for different schools. But it is best to contact your schools FA office to find out what their schedules are.  Good Luck
