Whoa, before trying to say that I'm trying to get out of a debt listen to my reason for asking this question. I sold somebody clothes, and he does a chargeback and disputes it. Paypal took the money, but since I transferred it to my bank its in the negative. The dispute is totally ridiculous. Hes trying to scam me out of the money and purchase, knowing that paypal always sides with the buyer. And I just plainly refuse to pay over a one-sided dispute. Thats the reason why I'm asking.

  1. yes yo are liable.  Liable is responsible.  You are definately the responsible party.  If they will tak legal action?  Well, it depends on how much you owe.  If it costs are more then what you owe, they wont take legal action.  But, what is legal action?  First they will contact the credit bureau and let them know of your payment default.  Then if it's too low, they will sell it to a collection agency.

  2. Yes, you have to pay it!

They will take you to court if you don't.

  3. Yes you are liable and yes they will take legal action. Did you really believe you could escape debts so easily? If it was that easy, everybody would do it and PayPal would be out of business.

  4. Yes and yes.

  5. Your bank will blacklist you, you will not be able to open an account until you pay the bank back or go to prison if you stole enough to make it a federal offense.
