I was over 16 in dec 2007 so my parents do not get the rebate either.

  1. A person of any age or any income who could be claimed as a dependent on another taxpayer's tax return is not eligible for the stimulus payment.

This is clearly stated in the qualifications for the stimulus payment at irs.gov.

A 17-year old could claim himself if he provided over half of his own support.  Otherwise, his parents can claim him.

  2. Yes, if you were not claimed by somebody else and had at least $3000 in earnings, you qualify and should submit a 2007 tax return by October 15 to get your stimulus this year.

  3. if you worked at all===---yes

    to be sure call irs

    or ss office

  4. NOPE

And your parents could have and should have claimed you, and still could by filing 1040X.  You weren't self-supporting, and probably have inadequate income to qualify for stimulus.
