If I delete my hotmail email account.....?

...what will people see my name as if they have me on their windows live messenger? I deleted my hotmail email yesterday, will they still have me on their list? If not, what happens? Will they still be able to leave an offline message?

It still shows but most times it's just your e-mail address.

yes they will still have you on their list .. they only see you offline and when checking here they will see you deleted them

anyway your account will still be available (in case you change your mind) during 120 days ...I think that then your contacts will see that you do not appear on their VIEW list anymore
