If I disconnect the USB cable from the monitor?

i have a dell monitor with built in webcam and mic and theres an usb cable connected to the monitor. if i disconnect the usb cable does it mean im disconnecting the webcam and the mic or the usb cable needed for the monitor to work? this pc is expensive so im afraid to try.

  1. The monitor doesn't need a USB cable to work, it is for the camera and mic.
