  1. It would take a few weeks no matter how many you do a day, muscles can only grow by a certain amount each day and no amount of extra work can change that.

  2. I am doing at least 10,000 and i want to get a flat stomach this upcoming Thursday... so if i do 10,000 for 4 days i should be good...

    (please note i have a gut )

  3. probably really soon if you suck in your stomch while doing sit-ups and crunches.

    helppp?  http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...   thanks.

  4. i do 500 a day.  i depends on how much you weigh. if you are skinnyish it prob take 2-3 days.

if you got some extra weight maybe a cuple weeks.

i do 500 sit ups and i do this work out. and my six pack is nice

  5. you need to get your diet right or no amout will get you good abs

  6. tomorrow

  7. I tried it for two years straight and never came close. Google it. Good luck!

  8. If you could even do 1,000 sit-ups a day you would never get a 6 pack. You would just continuously rip the abdominal muscles over and over never letting them heal. You would also need a balanced diet with lots of protein.

  9. in 1 month you will be ripped

  10. It doesn't work like that, you have to first get your body fat below 12%, and then work on your abs...you can't just burn all your stomach fat..you have to burn EVERYthing else first or else sit-ups won't make a darn difference.

  11. Never..

You will end up with leg cramping each day..

Better do 50 crunches each day for at least 3-4 months..

  12. a 6-pack comes from low body fat not from abdominal exercises.  you don't need to do a single sit-up and still get a 6-pack.  all they do is strengthen the muscle they have no effect on body fat stores.  it's physiologically impossible to spot reduce body fat through exercise.

    * I train and consult NPC & IFBB bodybuilders

  13. ive been doing 250 for two month and i got a six pack

  14. never. your kneck and back will go out before you know it. You might do 1,000 twice. Leg lifts are where its at, and you won't have to do but about half as many.

  15. Once you follow a proper nutritional plan, throw in hours of cardio a week and get your body fat below 5%, that is when the six pack comes out.

Doing a thousand situps without eating properly and doing cardio won't get you anything except a strong mid section and a sore tail bone.  Train the abs twice a week to three times a week and focus on the cardio and nutrition.  It is the ONLY way to get those muscles to show, body fat must be low.

  16. you won't. working your muscles that hard will actually make them softer because they don't have time to heal and repair and rebuild, therefore your abs will look less hard/six pack like, and more soft and flubby. Try just doing a reasonable amount (like 40-100 depending on your ability) every other day. your muscles need time to build and repair otherwise you won't get the intended results.
