If I do a search on someone's page....?

will that person know it's me if I am not logged in? For ex. If I have a page on Black planet.com and someone is looking for me, will I be able to see that person? Because Black planet sends you a note to your email address to inform you someone has viewed your page.

If you're not logged in, then there's no way for a person to know who viewed/ searched their page.

In the worst-case scenario, blackplanet may trap the viewer's/ searcher's IP address, which may  provide an approximate geographic location of the viewer/ searcher. However, the owner of the page would need some very strong legal reasons that would convince the webmaster of blackplanet to reveal the IP address.

So, you're safe.
