If I do not want to mount my TV on the wall what other stands will hold a flat screen?

Almost all flat screens come with a simple pedestal mount that will allow the TV to be free standing on a table or AV cabinet.  It is designed to do what you want to do and look right with the TV.

Your flat screen should come with a removable base of sorts.  You can put it on any console table.  We bought ours at Home Decorators:

They have all kinds of mounts at local electronic stores. Check with Best Buy or Circuit City. I know when I worked at Costco we had a stand that mounts on the bottom of the tv, so that it can stand on a table or something.
