hey I'm a prep op 2 gymnast (level 6-7) and I can't do any gymnastics this summer. If I do the following at least 5 days a week, will I still be (somewhat) in shape to continue gymnastics in the fall?
-run 10 minutes
-press handstands with ankle weights
(straddle first, then work pikes)
-wrist strengthening
-ankle strengthening
-all 3 splits for 2 minutes
(once they're down, oversplits)
-back flexibility (bridges)
and some basic skills such as rolls,
walkovers, handspring step outs,
handstands, handstand walks, etc.
