Is it possible to organise to live with a family or people my age? Is there an organisation that can assist with this?

  1. Hi,

You can inquire with the shelters of France except that for a stay. On the other hand, if it is for studies, you can possibly see with the corents. The principle, it is because kept silent changing room in an apartment or a house with the other tenants. Kept silent division(sharing) so expenses such as the rent, the food, the invoices... It is very common(current) in France. You can also see on sites of linguistic exchanges between families,as the sites of correspondence.

I hope to have helped you.

    Bye

  2. For a long term stay or short term?

    For short term:

    - B&B (chambre d'hôtes), by French law they are required to have 5 rooms maximum so you are treated as  guest, not a client.

    - Weekly rental

    - couchsurfing.com

    For long term:

    - monthly rental

    - share a place with roommates

    - find a homestay program (exchange student, cutural exchange)

I don't know your situation or your age, maybe if you specified I could help more.

  3. I think there might be homestays. That's where you live with another family for a bit.  You could also try renting.
