because thats kinda gross that you dont.

but anyways mine falls out anyway.

maybe it sheds when ur washing it and u dont notice?

Yes. Shampooing is when we see a lot of what's already loose or even fully detached come out. It would have fallen out anyway. As long as you don't have new and clearly visible thinning, it's nothing to worry about.

just because you dont wash your hair everday doesnt mean you dont shower...anyways..if i straighten my hair i skip a day then wash..my hair falls out too..i guess its normal bc its been doing that for a while now and i cant tell my hair is getting much thinner..but i guess its ok as long as you dont notice that..

It's normal to loose about 180 hairs a day. Unless you have thinning patches, it's nothing to worry about. If you feel the hair loss is excessive, check with your doctor. This could be a symptom of a thyroid problem.

To the first answer, it is possible to shower but put your hair in a shower cap, especially if you just got a perm or something. Anyway, to the question: NO that is not normal.

Something similar happens to me as well.  If it's up in a ponytail for a couple of days, and handfuls of hair comes out when I was it.  Yes, this is normal.  On average, both men and women can lose from 40 up to 100 hairs a day!  So after 3 days of your hair up...you could potentially have up to 300 hairs fall out.  But don't fret, we have billions on our heads, and you are constantly  growing new hairs.
