Some people say that if you have glasses and only wear them sometimes, it'll make your eyes worse since you're not wearing it all the time. Is this true and why does it make your eyes worse?

  1. It doesn't make your eyes worse. It helps you see. Not wearing them gives you headaches and dark circles under your eyes from straining to focus.

  2. not every time, it just depends. But it would be best to always wear your glasses just in case, cause it can happen, when I dont wear mine for periods of time, they get worse.

  3. It will get worse-  the stronger eye will take over and your weaker one will get weaker-- Then the headaches will come, trust me you are ruining your eyes by not wearing your glasses!!  if you don't like glasses- see about getting contacts, they are all kinds and all colors too !!

  4. There are many myths about the link of wearing glasses and the progression of your eye condition. These, however, were not proven.

Not wearing glasses when required will tire your eyes and train them as they're required to work harder. This will make your vision change faster. Wearing them will significantly reduce the time it takes for this to happen.

  5. actaully i heard that ur eye sight gets better wen u dnt wear them alot.

    but idk!

  6. Yes because you'll strain your eyes trying to see clearly.

  7. I'm not sure but what you should check out are eye exercises for better vision... My dad did it he ordered this package and he had to do exercises with certain cards and formats and he went down 2 prescriptions.

Do some research with it and talk to your eye doctor about it.

    Good luck

  8. no it gets worth because of the strain put on your eyes. unless you only need reading glasses, then i suggest you always wear them.
