if I dont have electricity for my refrigerator, other word to say, my landlord did not pay the electrical bill. can i sue the landlord?

  1. Your best bet is to consult an attorney, they'll be able to tell you if you have a case or not. Most of the time they take these cases on pro-bono since it's a lawsuit and only get paid if you win.


  2. in most cases the electric bill is paid by the tenant, if your lease doesn't say the landlord pays the electric bill its YOUR responsibility.

  3. I would be careful about suing landlords..they have an intricate network and word will spread that you're the suing kind and NO ONE will rent to you. Just be level headed and talk to your landlord and see whats going on. If your landlord didnt pay the electric bill, your refrigerator wouldnt be the only thing not running.
