well, if the placebo effect were in play, it indeed would give you its courage... if you think a lion has courage.

lions usualy attack animals weaker than them, and will only attack if they know they have an opportunity to kill.

anyway, if you BELIEVED, really believed you would get courage from the lion, you would.

courage isnt an entity or some kind of substance given to people... its all in belief.

No. The blood would pass through your system, your body would absorb the nutrients, and out it goes again.

But, if someone believes that it has some sort of effect on your courage, the blood could have a placebo effect, making the person think they are brave and as a result - they become brave.
