  1. u would grow muscles like popeye LOL im sure you would lose weight if you didnt prepare it with to much oil & butter

  2. That would be interesting! lol But i wonder if it would have the same effect that carrots would....If you eat nothing but carrots for a while, then your skin will turn orange-ish!!

  3. possibly but u would probably get tired of it after 3 days

  4. you would get sick. you cant get all the nutrients you need in your body to stay healthy. and it does not matter how much you like spinach, after a while you would get sick of eating it.

  5. Spinach contains a fair amount of oxalic acid which can form metal oxalates. Metal oxalates can irritate the gut and because oxalic acid binds with things like iron and calcium, long term consumption of food high in this may cause metal deficiencies.

A week of spinach probably wouldn't amount to anything serious, but it's definitely not the healthiest thing to do!

  6. Just spinach is not enough to get you all of the nutrients you need. You need more variety than that. If you did what you describe you would become malnourished.

  7. You didn't mention what else you would be eating.

  8. Um... you would get sick of eating spinach.

Nothing would happen... you'd likely start craving other foods.

Lose weight?  Maybe, depending on your metabolism.

Starving yourself of food or variety of food is lowering your metabolism, which means that you are teaching your body to store fat instead of using it... that means you are teaching your body to get fatter by doing such a thing.

  9. Not much would happen, actually.

To lose weight you'd have to cut calories in addition to change WHAT you are eating. Also, you need to exercise.

If you're eating the same amount of calories as always, you won't lose weight.

Spinach is great, there's a lot worse that you could be eating, so I think it's a good move anyway, even if it isn't a miracle diet fad or gimmick (who needs those if you're able-bodied and have the will-power to eat healthy anyway?)
