Question:

If I eat this what will happen to me?

Breakfast - porridge made with skimmed milk, 250ml smoothie (only fruit), one cup of coffee with skimmed milk and no sugar

Lunch - Sandwich or salad (sandwich = lettuce, tomato, Quorn "meat" Salad = lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion and either Quorn "meat" or cheese)

Dinner - dry fried prawns, Quorn or fish with vegetables or salad and noodles or potato or pasta.

Evening snack - low fat, low calorie cup soup

Drinks - 1.5 litres water per day, 2 cups of black tea with skimmed milk and no sugar, and green tea or mint tea if I feel hungry.

What else can I eat (I don't eat meat, only fish and "meat" substitutes)?

What can I eat instead of meat?

What would make this healthy?

  1. tuna, salmon, chicken

    and its a good food plan. Try to take it up to 2 litres of water per day though!


  2. Just eat fish will be fine.

If your looking for protein from sources other than meat you can eat egg whites or whole eggs, nuts with raw almonds being one of the best choices, low-fat cottage cheese is another great source.  Otherwise this diet sounds very healthy.  You might want to add a morning snack of fruit something like apple slices dipped in peanut butter,  That will give you fiber and protein to keep you full.  If you stick to a diet like this it will lower blood pressure, cholesterol. and keep you at a healthy weight.  Sounds great!

  4. this is healthy! well i think it is anyway compared to what i eat lol

  5. sounds all right, apart from the evening snack, maybe switch the soup to something like few strawberries, grapes or some kind of fruit, i don't like the idea of supermarket, factory made food, so have something natural or home-made is always better.
