If I founded a moderate/right political group?

Me and a few friends were considering starting a California based political group. If so, we would promote reform of California's gun laws, because they violate the 2nd ammendment, and vocalize our feelings against illegal immigration. There are other issues we are adamant about, but these are the two biggies.

Sounds like a great idea.  When dealing with 2nd amendment issues it is most important to get your definitions down before you appear in any type of demonstration or disseminate information from your group.  As a moderate group this will be doubly important because you will want to clarify terms such as 'assault rifles', 'militia' and 'arms' to be sure that you don't lumped in with fanatics depicted in the media as the only people who want to own guns.  Illegal immigration has unique problems in California due to the support your political leaders gain from the illegals.  I wish you luck!

No. There are lots of groups that hate illegals already and you can join the NRA if you wish to contribute to arms manufacturers.

Although I consider my self a Radical Leftist, I agree with YOUR views.. so I think you should do it. maybe I'm not such an extremist after all.. Do it. start a party.  Back in Ben Franklins day, they literally PARTIED to get people to join them.  People love to party and support good causes at the same time.
