If I get Frontline Plus for my cats flea problem should i still comb and bathe?

My cat has fleas if I get frontline plus for her should i still bathe her or just comb her everyday?

  1. you should only use one medication at a time for fleas.  

    So yes on combing and bathing (if not a flea bath) but only if it's necessary and you still see fleas.  


  2. Not for etleast a week or two, let it do its job for a while, combing should be okay, but not bathing,

Frontline Plus is waterproof after 48hrs.  So it is ok to bath if you are trying to remove a bunch of fleadirt but do not use another flea product.    Also do not apply the Frontline Plus right after a bath - wait 48hrs.  (it uses the natural oils in your cats skin and hair to work and a bath washes some of them away)  It is not a huge big deal if you already did this but it helps the product work better if the oils are there.

    Combing is always acceptable.

    Remember you may have to treat your surroundings as well.
