If I get a Honda Ruckus 49cc, what can i use to prevent people from stealing it?

Considering the bike is only 181 pounds and on top I believe you don't need to get it registered with the DMV. Can't someone just walk by and pick it up up and away?

In addition to the ole lock and chain, they've also got disk brake locks which can't really be cut like chain.  Just dont forget you put it on there because if you take off with it on you'll do a face plant lol.

Well, you should always bring a chain and a lock whenever you park it around. =)

Most states require those scooters to be registered.  About the best way to prevent theft would be to treat it as a bicycle.  Lock the scooter up with a high quality bike lock.  Keep it in a garage or shed at home and get extra insurance.  Many states will permit motorcycles and scooters to be locked at bike racks.
