  1. Not sure why you would use the reciever or the USB port.  I reciever for what?

    Audio reciever, tv antenna.

I have a USB port on my home theater DVD/receiver that I use to plug my flash drive into so that I can listen to my Mp3 files in surround sound, rather than simply on my Mp3 player with those annoying ear-bud headphones. I simply drag and drop my music files from my hard drive onto my flash drive and then plug it in to my receiver. Beats burning discs. Cheers!
