If I get an IMAC, do I have to get wireless internet, or can I hook it up to a company's internet?

Such as Optimum? Also any advice about getting an IMAC?

  1. never buy a mac... the mac OS is awful.. go with windows or Linux


  2. The imac has a regular ethernet on the back just like most computers and could hook up to any network you choose. I havehad four iMacs in my life and they ALL are still working (two on the original factory install of the OS). They are GREAT computers and look great too. I have an iMac g5 in the kitchen and it only has one wire coming out (power) yet in can go online, download, print wirelessly and more. The mac OS is much more reliable than windows and everything comes out years before so if you like the latest technology its a great option.

    Also, if you go to dell.com or any website and build your PC it will be the same price or more that the Macintosh so whats not to love? (include webcam, speakers, superdrive, RAM, and all that)
