If I get an NROTC scholarship, can I enlist in the Marine Corps Reserve....?

...go to boot camp in the summer, attend classes and still become an officer upon graduation? and could I get a new MOS as an officer?

  2. yes yes yes. NROTC is not the military. When you finish school you will have more options, just don't sign a contract unless you are guaranteed a spot for officer school. It is that simple. Just remember, you control the debates, they need you more than you need them. Just get everything into writing at first, cause you will not have a chance to contest your contract till you re-enlist

  3. I am currently a Marine Option Midshipman so I know this stuff from expeirence. You can enlist in the reserves and try to get into the BOOST or MECEP program which is basically NROTC except for enlisted individuals only. You would be commissioned when you graduate, if you successfully complete OCS in Quantico. And yes you could get a new MOS.
