If I get my insurance license can i work for as many insurance companys at one time i want i live in wisconsi

  1. if you work for a captive agent/company (such as Allstate, State Farm etc) they want you to work for them only.  If you work for an independent agent you will be able to write for all the companies they are admitted to.  If you are opening your own agency, its pretty much the same way.


  2. I agree with other people, just don't go to Brooke. And you need to be "appointed" by other companies not "Admitted"

  3. Only if you work as an independent agent. That means that you are not captive or exclusive, say, for example, a State Farm Agent. You still have to be appointed with all of the companies that you would like to sell for. You can contact the companies' licensing departments for more information. Also, there are franchises of independent agencies, like Brooke, who can help you get everything set up.
