My car insurance expired. I have already paid them for the year renew, but I still haven't received the piece of paper saying I renewed my insurance. So if I get pulled over...what will happen? Can I get charged still? I've called my insurance just now, they say they'll send another copy over.

  1. he could check it and most likely will if you dont have your slip. just keep your old slip with you just in case. he can call the company and find out if you do have insurance or rnot. i was stopped when i didnt have an insurance card for a new car i bought and he checked it out and saw that i had insurance. he can issue you something similar to a "fix-it" ticket which means get it fixed within 10 days or it will be a ticket. all you will have to do is show the court your proof of insurance and everything will be fine. no worries. just dont drive stupid just in case. lol

  2. all you need is proof of insurance some companies let you go online and print out a temp card till you get regular one

  3. just show a proof that you have renewed your insurance like a bill or something.
