If I get snakebites (the piercings) will it effect braces?

Ok, ive been wanting snakebites for about 4 yrs now but there has always been 1 problem, mom >.<

but now she finnaly said yes O.o and in 1 month I'm getting braces -.- but i was currious if they would effect the braces cause damage to my teeth or gum damage.

oh and by the way im getting the loops not studs

so ppl give me some info plz =]

they could, because of your brackets,

the only way to know for sure would be to ask your orthodontist about the treatment plan and if the piercings would affect it.
