Do I have to pay if the food I get is different or is it a gamble?

I was in Greece and I ordered a chocolate crepe. The chocolate on it had nuts in it and I am allergic. I tried to explain to the waitress who hardly spoke english that I couldn't eat nuts. She took my crepe away and put walnuts on it.

Did I have to pay for that?

  1. You have to pay if you eat. <lol>

  2. noe, you shouldn't have to pay for it.

  3. if u didn't consume the food, you no need to pay for them. They should serve according to the guest's need.

  4. Do not eat crepes! Especially if you have food alergies! Only Subway is healthy! Fat people must eat at Subway at least twice a day because it is the only way they can lose weight! And if you have heart disease, only eating at Subway can cure your ills! Only Subway is healthy!

  5. Aloha!

Maybe not but being allergic to nuts makes it questionable for ANY restaurant orders...buy & make yer own food & stay out of my restaurant!

  6. No, you don't have to. If you don't eat it, or if you eat some of it and it's not satisfactory, you don't have to pay a dime. However, the restaurant usually likes to try and put it right....like offering a different dessert instead.
