If I get the flu or pink eye, will travelers insurance cover the loss of my airline ticket cost?

It is best to read the policy, but in generally they usually cover sickness.

But what does "cover" mean?  Refund what you paid for the ticket, or get you a new ticket, which may cost more?  Refund for the hotel you won't stay at since you didn't get on the plane?

Lastly, thank you for not flying when you are contagious.  The rest of us appreciate you not getting us sick.
