Specifically, does a printer store iomages of the previous prints like the hard drive on a copier does? I want to give it to Goodwill, but I want to make sure no one cant get at private info I printed in the past. Also, I guess it depends on what kind of printer (i.e. inkjet, laser, copier machine, etc.).

  1. No. Thats information is stored on your computer and not the printer. Some printers have memory for a queue, but that memory is lost when the power is shut off.

  2. no, a printer doesn't have much of a memory, defiantly not enough to be wasting on storing old print jobs, either way good will would never be determined to see any information on anything you give them, all there happy about is that they got something from you :)

  3. No.

  4. no, printers don't hold that type of information, good luck with the printer!

  5. no, they would have to have your computer for that.

  6. That info is on the computer, not the printer. You're fine to give it away
