Here is why it might not get to you--not every home has mail service to the door.  We don't, so it would never get here unless it went UPS or FedEx.

Here is another reason.  Since 9/11 the Post Office is not allowed to deliver mail with no name above the address in the area for either the sender or the recipient.  Most of their computers will send an improperly addressed letter into the trash.  Parcels get investigated.

That depends.   If you have a different mailing address than physical address and do not have a current change of address on file it may not.   Therefore if you have done that go put in a change of address form if you want the mail.  If you get your mail where you live and just left out the zip code it will probably eventually get there.
