If I go on a cruise that leaves from Tampa, Florida and goes to Honduras and Belize do I need a passport?

  3. The passport laws are in flux.  The best thing to do is to check the State Department website.  In the past, you didn't need a passport on a cruise, but it makes things easier.  

    If you're going in May 2008, it's too late to get a passport now.

  4. YES YOU DO IT TAKES ABOUT 4 WEEKS UNLESS YOU PAY THE EXTRA CHARGE FOR A FAST PASSPORT

  5. Yes you need a passport. You need one anywhere outside the continental USA. I believe that includes even our protectorates such as Puerto Rico.

  6. You need a passport for all cruises, because the open seas are outside the United States, so you have to go through immigration to get back into the country.
