If I go to a bank, can i redeem travelers checks?

I dont like using them, i got them from Bank of America

could i go to any bank to redeem or just BA

You should be able to take them to any bank and turn them to cash or at least have a cashier's check issued.

Assuming they are your travellers checks..then you can cash them at any bank...as long as the signatures match and you have ID..... If they are from someone else..the sigs have to match and you may only be able to deposit them until the bank is sure they are not stolen.

If they are yours you can redeem them anywhere.
