  1. What your school rates has nothing to do with what school you choose to go to. Im for alabama and went to a school that is considered to small for much count, only graduating 58 my senior year. But most that I graduated with went to University of Alabama. Because they worked hard got good grades and scored great on ACT test.

  2. Most of the kids I went to high school with graduated and went to LSU. My dad actually graduated from East Jeff like 100 years ago.

LSU will look at your test scores and transcripts as well as your application. If they like what they see you will be accepted. It's not like getting into Harvard.

  3. That has nothing to do with getting into college...your SAT scores & so on are what are important

  4. I went to a public HS and got into LSU. I was an average student at the time too. Although, entrance standards have changed since then. Your school rating does not have anything to do with you getting in. If you work hard, make good grades and ACT/SAT scores then you should be fine. Make sure you research the admission standards and work to achieve those. Good Luck! Geaux Tigers!

  5. Okay, so your school as a whole is just a bit below average.  That changes from year to year anyway.  Do a lot of reading instead of watching tv and playing video games.  Do a lot of ACT/SAT preparations so you can make a really good score.  Get the best grades you can in the most advanced classes you can get.  Be sure to take two years of foreign language, and whatever other classes you need to so you can get your TOPS scholarship, and any other scholarships that might be available to you.  Then go to LSU!  Geaux, Tigers!  (I went to LSU.)  [or go to Southern for a year, make really good grades, then transfer!]
