Question:

If I got 2.3 Freshman 1.95 sophmore and 3.5 junior and a 21 on the ACT can i still get into some college?

I came into high school not as focused as I should have been but now I know what I want to do and have a strong gpa.

  1. My GPA was higher than yours, but I got a 21 on the ACT the first time I took it, then retook it and got a 23 and I got into a good state school.  


  2. Yes.  21 on the ACT is pretty good!

You should be able to get into most colleges as long as your scored more than an 18 on your ACT. 18 is the minimum standard set by most state schools. your high school GPA doesn't matter that much in terms of acceptance but is important for scholarships. If you are really worried about it you can take the ACT again, there is no limit on the number of times  you can take it and colleges only look at your highest score. Good luck.  

  4. I would say that you might want to start at a community college, work your *** off to get a good gpa there, and then try to go to a four year school.  You might be able to get into a smaller state school also, but it will probably be tough.
