If I got a female pregnant, and I have medicade, but she doesn't, how do we pay for it...?

What if we both didn't have medical coverage, or any type of insurance, and lived in NY, how does it get paid for...?

  1. well then, you go apply for it or government aid. but anyway it's not a great idea to not have medical coverage....

  2. Well What is it? do you mean the birth of the child plus prenatal care or do you mean an abortion. She needs to apply for Medicaid. If accepted they can go back 3 months and cover any medical bills. She will also need proof of pregnancy when she applies. (usually a document with the Edd from a doctor). you can also get this document from planned parenthood if they confirm the pregnancy.

  3. She should apply for medicaid herself. She should NOT count your income at all since you and she are not married. If denied she may be able to find some insurance coverage for the pregnancy through the health department. If not she can make arrangements to pay with the various doctors and hospital to make payments on the bills.( of these bills for the pregnancy and baby's needs - you should pay half.).

  4. well congrats on the bundle of joy i would say support. family, close friends, or even welfare to pay for some insurance

  5. tell her to get on pregnancy medicaid. if shes pregnant she can go to the health dept. and apply there.
