Last semester I had a lot of personal problems going on in my family and I had to drop two classes. Will I ever be able to get financial aid again or did I blow it?

  1. You will probably have to pay out of pocket for a semester or two to get gpa back up.

  2. you should file an appeal, explain your situation and they will probably reinstate you on financial aid probation....

  3. i know in the state of ga..you have to pass i think its 75 percent of your classes..so if you drop three you would have to take and pass four to get financial aid again or something like that was the example used in our orientation...so i believe you should be able too..go talk to your counselor..thats why they get paid

  4. All you have to do is write a letter of appeal. Explain what happened, and what is different now. Be detailed and put in a plan. Usually, since this sounds like your first offense, appeals are generally approved a few times before you are on your own. Just call your fa office they will be able to help you. Dont worry.
