  1. if i post the same question 3 times what are the chances that someone will notice?-blurey

  2. you have a 5.2 percent chance of pulling out three cokes randomly...

you start out with 25 drinks and 10 of them are cokes... the chances of u pulling out a coke is.. 10 out of 25..

with that first coke pulled out... ur next chance of pulling out a coke is.. 9 out of 24... (cuz u pulled out a coke already.. both numbers decrease by one..)

and ur third pull after pulling out the second coke.. ur chances of pulling out a coke is.. 8 out of 23...

so.. you take those three numbers and multiply them together...

hence u get the answer of.. roughly.. 5.2%..  or if u want it as a fraction.. its...  720 out of 13800 simplified to.. 72 out of 1380

  3. 10/25 * 9/24 * 8/23 = 720 / 13800 = 6/115

    or 5.2%

WHY would you have a greater chance of 3 cokes in a row than 1?  You have to think about the answer after you get it.  Obviously I'd have very little shot of getting every coke and nothing else without looking ... but if you add the fractions you'd expect a good chance!

    The fractions multiply!

8/23 of the 9/24 of the 10/25 of the time I draw a coke, they're all cokes.  Multiply.

  4. Your chances are 3/25.

First lets just say we get 7 root beer then 8 sprite.(That is now 15.) After, you get 3 coke so the maximum number of drinks you will need to get out without looking is 18.

  5. 3/25
