I live in Boston, so answers related to Boston would be great - but not necessary.

  1. Slip costs really depend on the size of the slip needed for the boat, and the location of the slip; which marina you dock at... You would just need to contact the marinas in your area and have the width and length of the houseboat, and the length of time you plan on renting/leasing the slip...

    Good luck

  2. Your best bet really is to call around to marinas in your area and get quotes.  Remember to ask about extra charges for electricity, water, cable TV, internet, pump out, etc.    Sometimes you can find great deals at places that are somewhat commercial, but not really marinas - boat yards, where fishermen dock, etc.  Best of luck with your plans.

  3. i live in MN...land of 10000 lakes i have a 21 foot boat and for a very good price we keep ours at a dock for 1500 for the season and that is very cheap some places for 40 footers can change around 5 - 7k a season....just a general idea
