If I had an untouched island to develop, where would I find serious investors?

A beautiful little island, off the West coast of Africa. Designed to be a tax, eco haven, to look after the locals and provide a nice life for me! Investors would be needed for building, services and the rewards would be wonderful.

Look in your area for a company that describes itself as a Venture Capitalist business.  They are the kind of people that do development like that.
