If I had throat cancer, the symptoms wouldn't go and come back sometimes right?

About 2 weeks ago I felt like there was something in my throat and it was hard to swallow, but after a week it went away. Now a few hours or so a day it feels like there's something in my throat but there's no trouble swallowing. If I had a tumor, that wouldn't happen right?

Well, did you feel some stomach content come back up recently? If so you could have GERD It occurs when your acid from your stomach goes up your esophagus and can cause throat irritation, heartburn and other esophageal damage

Another possible reason is that you could have a muscle spasm in your throat.
