which car brand & model happen to be known as a fast one out of standard road cars speaking about cars with engine below 1.9L ... which are those standard fast performance cars?

Umm, I think Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, Nissan 350Z, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X or VIII. I not too sure bout being under 1.9L though, holden commodore, Those convertible mustangs you have in America that everyone drives....

Idk why you want a fast car that's under 1.9. A 1.9 liter is like, well, an econobox, so go figure. All you'll get in an engine that small is frount whell drive ricer c**p. Maybe you don't know much about cars. There are ALOT of "standard road cars" that are above 1.9, actually most of them are, you can get a used BMW M3 around 6-7 years old for around $20,000, that is a HOT car and it's really fast, and yes, it's a standard road car, and the best part is it gets over 30 mpg on the highway and over 20 in town. I think it's like a 3.0 liter turbo. Also consider the Honda s2000, it looks great, handles great, is reliable and good on gas and goes for about the same as the m3. Definatly go used for an expensive sports car, if it's not your first car you don't need it to be brand new.

Hey, even a lamborgini is a standard road car. Stay away from anything thats "fast" and is less then 1.9L. Heres something you would get for that:

Okay, you'll be suprised if I tell you this - Malaysia's Proton Satria GTi is the fastest model of its make, and it's much faster than certain fast models above 2.0L!
