I know it's a trivial question, but I've wondered about it when the issue comes up and thought I'd ask.

  1. That many copies, use someone else's machine. Why put wear & tear on your printer and use your ink?

  2. In the short term, I have no clue.  In the long run, your all-in-one was not designed for that kind of volume.  Unless this is a one time deal, Kinko's, or one of their competitors, is the only real option.

  3. Most places like Staples, or FedEx Kinko's charge 9 cents per copy.

  4. Probably even as far as cost goes, but much faster and easier for a Kinko's copier.  In my neighborhood, Kinko's charges 8 cents per page for self service (or $8 in this case), which includes both the paper and the ink.  If you had to supply your own paper, 100 sheets = about $2 in paper, plus about 1/4 of an ink cartridge (at least $5).

At my office, our rule of thumb for using a laser printer (the toner is much more expensive than home ink) was 20 cents per page for black and white, and 80 cents per page for color.
