  1. no!! you will be just fine....

    5.8 GHz phones should work fine near Wireless-G (802.11g) routers.

    I have two Panasonic 5.8 GHz phone base-units only a foot away from my Linksys Wireless-G Router and have never had a RFI interference problem between them.

    If you are looking at DECT-6 phones, they should not be a problem either around Wireless-G or Wireless-N routers. DECT-6 phones use the 1.9 GHz band, while Wireless-G uses 2.4 GHz band; and Wireless-N use both 2.4/5.0 GHz bands.

    Neither of these frequencies should interfere with 1.9 GHz DECT-6 phones or 5.8 GHz phones.
