  1. You typically want to play w/ about 5%-10% of your bankroll at a time.(or less if possible)

So for your case, 10% of 200= $20 so you should sit at a .10/.25 table, if you're playing multiple tables however, then you should probably go one level down until you get your bankroll up to the $300-$400 range.

But you really do not want to sit at anything much higher or you risk losing all of your bankroll in a matter of a few bad sessions.

  2. I'm in the exact same situation as you (after cashing out.) My advice is to not risk more than $1-5 *total* at a time. In fact, what i usually do: play my strongest $1 game until i win $6, then play a $5 game, with the extra dollar to use if I lose to start the cycle again. This way, I don't lose money, and I have enough bankrolled to cover short term losses. Yesterday, i lost around 20 $1 games in a row, then placed in the next 3. The 20 losses dipped into my bankroll, but the 3 places brought me back.

  3. If you are playing cash games, then I'd feel safe risking about $10 in each sitting.  This isn't very high, but with discipline, you can build this bankroll to a much higher level in a few months.  Also, if you're playing no limit hold 'em, make sure that you're buying in for the table max.  This is often a $0.05/0.10 no limit game.  Hope this helps.

  4. I don't like to sit down at a cash table with any more that 5% of my bank.  At sit-n-go's, I like to have 30 entries in my bank.  You can find a lot of great information regarding cash management at my source link.  My style is very conservative, read "boring," but I like to make sure I can keep playing without any more than my first deposit.  Good Luck!

  5. About 10$, no more.
