  1. $2000 = €1,248.41

  2. You should have about 1,248.46 EUR.

  3. The euro is worth more than the canadian dollar, therefore when changing canadian dollars into euros you will end up with less euros than dollars.

$2000 canadian dollars = €1,259.21 euros (at this time of writing)

  4. As above. From the wording of your question I'm not sure you understand that the exchange rate between the euro and the Canadian dollar will be the same no matter which Eurozone country you will be visiting.  You will get the same amount of euro for your dollar in Germany, Spain or Ireland etc. The only difference is the local cost of living, which in Ireland is quite high, so you won't be able to buy as much in Ireland with your euro as you would be able to in Germany. Think of it as the difference in the cost of buying a beer in downtown Vancouver and the cost of the same beer in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Same dollar, different value.
