That is having all these bolt on mods installed on the stock motor of my auto ex civic with 90,000 miles on it be too much stress on the motor? Will it have to be like dyno tuned if i want to do all of this?

Or will it be ok on the motor?

Also, can I have all these installed without having a new catback exhaust put on it and just stick with the stock exhaust?

Please only answer if you have experience with all of these mods thanks

  1. no duh it is going to be harder on the motor.

  2. no your not gonna hurt the internals , your helping the car breath bettter , the sky is the limit with what you can do with theas motors , and parts are cheep , go nuts , i have and intake manifold , intake full ram and header back exaust the car is running like brand new with 156k on it, external coil will give you aprox 10hp

  3. no it won't hurt with bolt on parts. eveything can be installed to replace the oem parts. you won't gain much except for maybe a little quicker throttle response. the most would maybe be a gain of 5-7hp extra, and a few more lbs of torque. you probably won't even feel a difference.

now if you port and polish the head , get high lift cams, new valves, pistons, some form of ram air induction system, and better gear ratio transmission, then yes you would need to dyno the car for precision tuning.
