I have a 3.4 gpa and I am curious if it's possible for me to make a 4.0. I am just starting Junior year. Also, if it's not possible... Whats the highest gpa I can make if I earn all A's?

  1. No, you can't get a 4.0 (unweighted) if you've ever gotten a grade below an A.  If you've got a 3.4 now, and you take the same number of classes this year as the last two years, you can have a (3.4*2+4.0*1)/3 = 3.6 GPA at the end of your junior year (when you apply for colleges) if you get nothing but A's next year.

  2. Your 4.0 is broken and you cannot recover. Depending on the classes your take and the weight given to each, you can raise your GPA, but it is not possible to predict the outcome.

  3. I'm guess you can bring your gpa up to a 3.75. But you've lost your chance for a 4.0... sorry
